2025 She Leads Conference Nomination Form

Application critical dates:

Call for applications opens 9am Monday, 5 May 2025.

Applications close 5pm Thursday, 5 June 2025.

Purpose:

The ACT Health Women’s network is a staff-led network that aims to provide a forum for ACT Health employees to come together to support a positive and inclusive work culture, for all employees, through promoting gender equity, with a focus on women’s issues in the workplace.

The She Leads conference is the YWCA Canberra’s flagship leadership event, it brings together emerging and established women and non-binary leaders with Australia’s most inspiring voices. This full-day experience offers compelling keynote speeches, thought-provoking panels, engaging seminars, and opportunities to connect with individuals making a real difference in their communities and beyond. This event comprises the conference and a networking night for attendees.

The ACT Health Women’s network will sponsor 5 ACT Health staff to attend the She Leads conference on the 1st of August 2025. Please put in your application below. Please note this is only open for women and non-binary leaders within the directorate and will be assessed on an individual basis.

Guidelines:

  • Only individuals can be nominated for this sponsorship
  • Nominations can be made by self or others (eg. Supervisors or peers)

Awarding process:

  • All winners will be advised via email by 30 June 2025.
  • Winners will be announced in a Health HQ article.
  • Winners will have the opportunity to present their learnings to ACT Health staff at a future ACT Health Women’s network meeting.
