Introduction

Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub Grant Opportunity 2025

Thank you for your interest in the Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub (MMH) Grant Opportunity 2025.

The ACT Kids Hub is part of a national initiative delivered by the Australian Government in partnerships with all states and territories. The Kids Hubs provide no-cost access to a range of health professionals and programs, including care coordination, treatments and therapies, assessment, diagnostic services, as well as parenting, attachment, relationship and family system support.

This service is designed to meet a gap in the children's mental health and wellbeing system in the ACT. Children with mild/moderate/emerging needs are often deemed ineligible for services as they don't meet the threshold criteria due to factors such as age, severity of symptoms, and lack of formal diagnosis. The Kids Hub is an opportunity for early intervention before issues become entrenched and severity increases.

Please read the MMH Kids Hub Grant Requirements to ensure you are aware of all the grant process requirements before commencing with your application.

To develop a strong application, respondents will need to be familiar with the Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub national Service Model, the National Mental Health and Suicide Bilateral Agreement (ACT Schedule), and the Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub ACT Consultation Report. Please note that the Consultation Report refers to the previous project title – Head to Health Kids Hub.

Respondents should explicitly articulate any service/program and service category interdependencies within both the text box responses and the pricing schedule.

Please see the link to the Draft Deed Template that will be used for the successful applicant.

Please contact the mmhkidshub@act.gov.au if you have any questions regarding this grant opportunity.
